Connecting to the MCP server

This page is a placeholder. Full integration docs — connection URL, authentication, and client examples for popular MCP hosts — are coming soon. Below is the conceptual shape of what the server exposes today.

What it is

The All About Solidity MCP server is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents and IDEs retrieval-augmented access to the book's content. Instead of an LLM guessing at Solidity behavior from training data, it can call a tool, get back cited excerpts from the book, and ground its answer in them.

Tools exposed

search_book
Semantic search over every chapter of All About Solidity. Returns cited excerpts — book part, chapter, and section — ranked by relevance to the query.
get_chapter
Fetch a specific chapter or section by id, for when an agent already knows which part of the book it needs full context from.

Example client configuration

Illustrative only — the production connection URL and auth scheme will be published here once the server is live.

More coming: authentication setup, rate limits, and example prompts for popular MCP-compatible clients.
